Project description
My architectural thesis was a spiritual refuge, a chapel. It is small chapel, connected to the building of the public hospital run by the Franciscan Order of Buda by a pedestrian bridge. It would be built in the hospital park, as a sacral spiritual refuge for the physical and spiritual healing of the patients treated there. The structure would have a spatial effect, with a continuous, flat geometric surface, the plan of which would be given by a shroud imitating the contours of the Franciscan crucifix of St Damiano.
